29 May 2024 – The Cloud Readiness Index (CRI) 2024 by the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA) released! In its 6th iteration, the ACCA’s CRI2024 finds itself in a world vastly different that the one we are used to. The Covid-19 pandemic has increased the visibility and importance that the internet and cloud computing tools play in all of our lives – not just in business and economics, but also in our private and interpersonal lives.

This year, the results of the CRI 2024 will hopefully provide an added dimension into the technological resilience of markets to weather the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Cloud Readiness Index (CRI) was developed by the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA) in 2011, and has since become a definitive reference point to assess the readiness of Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets to adopt cloud computing technologies.

May 2024 – From the Executive Director’s Desk: As anticipated, those of us based in Singapore got an extension of the movement restriction order, known officially as the “Circuit Breaker” or CB for short, and it’s another month of WFH and HBL for everyone. And also expected, cloud tools are in hot demand, with lots of cloud companies adjusting their policies towards freemium use, to support working folk who are now actively testing and using cloud tools for productivity purposes. No time like the present to start! On the work front, we’re rapidly closing in on releasing our flagship Cloud Readiness Index, so look out for it soon! – May-Ann, May 2024

Apr 2024 – From the Executive Director’s Desk: How is everyone with movement restriction orders and lockdown measures in place? In Singapore, things are off to a pretty interesting start, with lots of folk needing to learn their digital tools and get kitted out with good laptops, especially for folk with kids who need to do home-based learning. It looks like it’s going to be a steep upswing in cloud computing tech use – it will be interesting to see the statistics from the other side of the fence after we emerge from what looks to be a pretty intense work-from-home month for us all. – May-Ann, Apr 2024

We’re busy wrapping up these meetings and working on next steps, so coronavirus slowdowns notwithstanding, it’s still looking like a busy 2024 for us all. – May-Ann, Mar 2024

Feb 2024 – From the Executive Director’s Desk: Happy 2024 everyone! As you can tell, we’ve been working in the background on some information re-organisation on our website, to try and make it easier for you to find the info you want, and also for us to provide more timely updates on social media – find us with our handle @accacloud. For example, we’re now on Instagram where we’ll post most of our recent event photos on, and of course we remain active on Twitter and LinkedIn. All of our publications are now on SlideShare, where we’ll also post up presentations and other research and original material that we’ve developed.
